Dr. Hye Ryung Won is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education at Slippery Rock University. Her research interests include early childhood STEM education and elementary robotic programming. She aims to expand STEM education opportunities for children in underserved communities, bridging the gap in their technology education, and brings this knowledge to teacher education to cultivate preservice teachers with sufficient digital literacy.
