Dr. Toyin Alli is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Georgia, and the founder of a digital education and media company called The Academic Society. She is a former Ronald E. McNair Scholar and completed her graduate doctoral studies in mathematics at The University of Alabama in 2016. In her current role at the University of Georgia, she focuses on increasing student engagement in introductory level mathematics courses. She's a teaching mentor for graduate students and new faculty members, has redesigned a major course in her department, and was awarded two teaching awards. Through The Academic Society, she has written a book and created online courses on time management, productivity, and self-care.
