American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Walk
For the fourth consecutive year, the USM School of Psychology will host an Out of the Darkness Walk supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Since 2018, these walks at USM have raised over $35,000 for suicide prevention and featured over 600 registered walkers and dozens of student volunteers. This year’s event will be held virtually on May 1, with funds raised benefitting education and suicide prevention efforts in Hattiesburg and nationally.
