Anne and Emmett

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host the play, Anne and Emmett, presented by New Stage Theatre, on February 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Joe Paul Student Theatre. There will be a reception prior to the event beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Thad Cochran Center Room 218A and the 2nd floor pre-function area. The play portrays a conversation between two of history’s iconic civil rights figures, Anne Frank and Emmett Till. This production has been billed as “a history lesson about the importance of tolerance, compassion and justice, to be acted out on stage, acted on in life.”
