AOP Workshop: History of the Gulf Park College for Women

From 1917 to 1971, Gulf Park College for Women operated on the site of what is now the University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park campus. In addition to academic offerings, the College had athletic pursuits in fencing, archery and horsemanship; artistic pursuits in theatre, dance and music; and extracurricular activities involving formal dances, trips to Ship Island, and a Carribean cruise.

Join our Association Office Professionals' (AOP) workshop as we explore a photographic history of the college presented by Allisa Beck, Arts + Humanities and Collection Management Librarian and Associate Professor.

The meeting will be in hybrid format with an in-person option (TBA) and virtual option via Microsoft Teams.
