Revelry 2022 - Acclaimed comedian and writer Steve Martin collaborated with songwriter Edie Brickell on this bluegrass musical that now comes to the USM stage. Alice Murphy and Billy Cane are strangers when they meet, he is a writer, and she is a newspaper editor. They soon discover a connection that runs deep and will change their lives. Based on the folk tale of the Iron Mountain Baby, Bright Star paints a picture of North Carolina from the 1920s through the 40s.
