The Center for Ethics and Health Humanities presents Polly Atkin, writer and author, in a talk titled, "Promoting Chronicity: On Illness Narratives, Ongoingness, and Unrecovery."
Polly Atkin is a poet and nonfiction writer, with works including Basic Nest Architecture (2017), Much With Body (2021), and Some of Us Just Fall: On Nature and Not Getting Better (2023). She lives in the English Lake District, where she is also a co-owner of the independent bookshop Sam Read Bookseller. This event is made possible through generous support from the Fairchild Lecture Series Funds.
