Join us in January for a discussion about the book, Pox Americana: The Great Smallpox Epidemic of 1775-82 by Elizabeth A. Fenn (Hill and Wang, 2001), moderated by Dr. Kyle Zelner, Associate Professor of History and Co-Director of the Dale Center at Southern Miss.

Sponsored jointly by the Dale Center for the Study of War and Society and the Library of Hattiesburg, Petal and Forrest County, the roundtable focuses on a different war and society book each month. It's a great way for community members, faculty and students to interact while exploring topics of mutual interest.

Several copies of each book are available for checkout at the circulation desk in the Library of Hattiesburg.

All meetings are held via Zoom. Please email the Director of the Hattiesburg Public Library, Sean Farrell at sean@hpfc.lib.ms.us for details.
