Denny Behm Memorial Hornfest

Former students of Professor Dennis “Denny” Behm will gather February 3-5 to honor the memory of their beloved teacher with festivities culminating in a recital.

Denny Behm joined the faculty of the University of Southern Mississippi in 1974 and taught at the University for 29 years. The recital will feature several of Denny’s students, many of whom have won positions in renowned orchestras across the world, teaching positions at various colleges and private horn studios, and those who just still love to play. The solos, duets, and horn choir finale will all pay loving tribute to the extraordinary teacher that was Denny Behm.
