The group is formed under the initiative of percussion teacher Paco Díaz and the concern of the students of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (C.S.M.C.). The idea arises from the need to open The world of percussion to all types of audiences and its main objectives are to publicize the magnificent existing repertoire for group of composed percussion in recent decades and promote the creation of New repertoire.

Throughout its existence, the group has made multiple performances. both nationally and internationally. Within the insular area, it has performed in the Chamber Hall of the Tenerife Auditorium, in the Auditorium of Adeje, Juan Carlos I Auditorium (Arafo), Ex-Convent of San Francisco (Garachico), Victoria Theater, Aulario Guajara of the University of La Laguna, Nautical Club of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Bajamar, Convent of Adeje and Antonio Lecuona Auditorium (C.S.M.C.) among others.

Previous members of the group have come to perform concerts in the International Convention of Percussion in its editions from 1995 to 2001 held in the cities of Valencia, Madrid, Seville and Mallorca, have participated in the IV International Conference of Percussion of Ribarroja del Turia 2004. The following year, they were invited by the School. Superior of Music of San Sebastian, Musikene (Basque Country) to give several concerts.

They also carried out exchanges with the School Municipal Music of Alcorcón. In 2008 they toured four concerts by various stages of the Community of Madrid and Segovia. Throughout their career, they have won countless awards in regional, national and international competitions, where it is worth highlighting the Next: María Orán Chamber Music Competition, organized by the CajaCanarias Foundation.

Three editions of the Percute de Catarroja contest (Valencia), International Percussion Competition in Taiwan, Competition International chamber music in Belgium, as well as in Italy, Cuba, etc.In recent years the group has participated in the Music Festival Contemporary of Tenerife and continues today with its pedagogical spirit offering concerts in schools and auditoriums on the island of Tenerife.
