Guest Lecture: "Building Capacity for Marine Mammal Research Through Ecotourism and Job Training"

Join Dr. Holley Muraco, Director of Research at Mississippi Aquarium, for her lecture, "Building Capacity for Marine Mammal Research Through Ecotourism and Job Training." Dr. Holley Muracohas worked in the field of wildlife conservation for over 25 years with expertise in the behavior and reproduction of threatened and endangered species. 

Dr. Muraco is currently based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast working with Mississippi Aquarium to build a field research program studying marine mammals, sea turtles, and monarch butterflies, pursuing sustainable eco-tourism projects, and working to build marine biology job training programs for students.

This lecture is co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Coastal Resilience. Refreshments will be provided.
