Michael Brohman: In a World of Circles and Squares

"In a World of Circles and Squares" is solo exhibition by sculptor and University of Colorado, Denver instructor, Michael Brohman. Through the use of found and fabricated objects, Michael Brohman creates narrative works that confront the notion of divisiveness. The works in this show subtly categorize the viewer as possessing "inclusiveness" or "otherness." Personal belief systems and biases are reflected in how the viewer interprets the objects and imagery used. The pieces are beautifully crafted, quiet and contemplative, while at the same time, they can be raw and unsettling.
