More than 120 students from coastal Mississippi and Hattiesburg will showcase their scientific projects at the Region I and IV Mississippi Science Fair, held at USM Gulf Park Campus. Winners will advance to the State Fair in March, with the opportunity to represent Mississippi at the National Science Fair in May. Hosted by USM’s Center for STEM Education, the fair features projects in fields like microbiology and engineering, inspiring the next generation of scientists.
