The Mississippi Early Childhood Inclusion Center (MECIC) with The University of Southern Mississippi will hold an open house and ribbon-cutting for the updated Mississippi LIFT Resource and Referral Network in Hattiesburg.

Funded by the Mississippi Department of Human Services, the MECIC meets the needs of early childhood educators, families and young children with disabilities by providing high-quality early childhood inclusion supports, resources and referrals. This open house will allow families, educators and community members to connect with the Mississippi LIFT Resource and Referral Network and gain insight into its mission of supporting early childhood inclusion in Mississippi. Guests can tour the facility, meet the staff and learn about programs at MECIC Hattiesburg.
