Dr. David Gushee, Distinguished University Professor of Christian Ethics at Mercer University, is a leading voice in Christian ethics and public theology. In his talk, "Defending Democracy from Its Christian Enemies," Dr. Gushee will explore the complex relationship between Christianity and democratic values, examining the challenges posed by certain religious movements and offering a path forward toward a more just and inclusive public square.
