Join us for a day of double reed fun! Dr. Kim Woolly, bassoon, and Dr. Galit Kaunitz, oboe, will host the Southern Miss Double Reed Workshop. All middle school and high school double reed players from beginner to advanced levels are invited to attend. 

Special guests: Rachel Messing, oboe, and Scott Pool, bassoon and faculty at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will share their artistry and expertise. 

Double Reed Workshop events will include master classes, performances, special topics classes, repair class and a final concert with all participants in a double reed ensemble! Vendors: Chemical City Reeds and Wes Lee Instrument Repair will be on site to help you with all of your double reed needs.
