The “Gold Carpet” event will feature a live broadcast of SMTV News, a gold carpet photo experience and opportunities to meet the student cast and crew.

The evening will include welcome remarks from Drs. Ed Simpson and Jason Beverly, recognition of SM2 students’ recent achievements and a special live edition of SMTV News featuring top stories, weather, sports and a guest appearance from Southern Miss President Dr. Joe Paul.

A reception and panel discussion with student leaders, anchors and crew members will follow.
