The School of Social Science and Global Studies (SSGS) is excited to announce a SSGS Spring Research Presentation presented by Dr. Bob Press, Associate Professor of Political Science and Legal Studies at USM.

Dr. Press will be giving a research presentation titled, "Measuring the Success of Social Activism: Human Rights in Nairobi." As part of his human rights research in 2020, Dr. Press spent a year in Nairobi, Kenya testing “cycles” and “framing” in such non-violent social movements. He will share some insights about his Kenyan research.
