The School of Media and Communication, in partnership with the College of Business and Economic Development and the School of Marketing, has put together a weeklong slate of activities and contests for the first-ever Strategic Communication (StratCom) Week! 

Join us for a StratCom Week Kick-Off Panel of well-known professionals addressing the broad areas of strategic communication, followed by President Joe Paul's welcome message.

Panelists include:

• Christian Patterson, APR+M, Fellow PRSA, Commander, U.S. Army Engineer Research Development Center
• Donna Ritchey, APR, Senior Partner, and Chief Strategist, Godwin Group
• Samantha McCain, APR, Chief Communications Officer, City of Hattiesburg
• Lisa Holifield Shoemaker, Executive Director, Mississippi Cable Telecommunications Association
• Amanda Parker, Public Relations Specialist, Signing River Electric Cooperative, and President of the State Board of Public Relations Association of Mississippi

The panel will be followed by a mixer among the panelists, students, and faculty.
