The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson

Four radical women lose their heads in this irreverent, girl-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. This daring new work by Lauren Gunderson explores violence and legacy, art and activism, feminism and terrorism, and how drastic change in the world is made. This high-stakes comedy is performed by Southern Miss Theatre and directed by faculty director Monica Hayes. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage in the U.S., featuring French women who led the way in the 18th Century.
