The sensational season finale finds Southern Miss voice professor, Dr. Taylor Hightower, singing  Songs of the Wayfarer by Gustav Mahler. This series of art songs forms the basis of thematic material for the season’s monumental conclusion – Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 – The Titan. Supplemented by additional brass, woodwinds and percussion, audiences will experience the genius of Mahler and the full gamut of emotions in this epic finale that also marks a fond “bon voyage” to our music director on his retirement.
