The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31, and Friday, Nov. 1 in the Joe Paul Theater. 3MT is an academic research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland in Australia. Students will explain their thesis or dissertation in a three-minute presentation to a non-academic audience, communicating the intricacies of their topic and research. The competition offers students a chance to perfect their "elevator pitch" and earn prizes in the process.
