Osvaldo Redondo Alfaro will present a Doctoral Bassoon Recital titled “Transcending Time: Music for Solo Bassoon.”

This solo bassoon recital features works representing different musical periods: Baroque (Merci), Classical (Devienne), Romantic (Elgar), Neo-Classical (Tansman) and Contemporary (Jenni Brandon). The program highlights the historical and stylistic evolution of solo bassoon repertoire across time.
