USM Regional SeaPerch Challenge

SeaPerch is a STEM education program that equips teachers and students with the necessary resources to design and build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV). K-12 teams from all over the Gulf Coast region are invited to design and build ROVs from a kit comprised of low-cost, easily accessible parts and follow a curriculum that incorporates engineering and ocean science concepts.

Kits and tools are provided to participating USM Regional SeaPerch teams. No technical experience is required. Each season a new theme and set of competition tasks are released.

This is a regional qualifying competition for the International SeaPerch Challenge on May 13, 2023, at the University of Maryland.
