Spend an inspiring hour immersed in the sounds of four distinct cultures brought to life through the artistry of the USM Wind Ensemble.

The USM Wind Ensemble is one of the premier musical ensembles of the University of Southern Mississippi. Known for its musical excellence and innovation, the ensemble presents several concerts each academic year, performing a wide variety of styles—from traditional to avant-garde. Since 1985, the Wind Ensemble has performed at numerous prestigious events, including the Mississippi Bandmasters Association Conventions, All-South Honor Band, three regional and three national conventions of the College Band Directors National Association and two national conventions of the American Bandmasters Association.

The ensemble is currently under the direction of Dr. Catherine Rand.
