Southern Miss’s premiere wind band performs the opening concert of 2021-22 season with viola faculty artist Hsiaopei Lee performing the haunting work “Love Among The Ruins” by composer James Syler. Assistant conductor, Justin Swearinger, will conduct the classic “The Solitary Dancer” by Warren Benson. The wind ensemble will also feature other classic works from the wind band repertoire.
