Fraschillo Stage at the Mannoni Performing Arts Center AuditoriumJoin the USM Concert Band for their feature performance of Lauds (Praise High Day) by Ron Nelson. This concert will also feature guest conductor, USM Artist in Residence, and Retired Commander of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” Col. Bruce R. Pulver, conducting Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre. Further repertoire includes works by composers Shuhei Tamura (Prologue One), Ralph Vaughan Williams (Whither Must I Wander?, arr. James Swearingen), Pinkzebra (This Is My Crazy Student Life), David Gillingham (At Morning’s First Light), and James Stephenson (Blue Night).

The USM Concert Band is under the current direction of Dr. Cody Edgerton. Recent ensemble achievements include a Children's Concert for area schools ("Seymour's Great Big Musical Adventure") and the state premiere of a new work by composer Joni Greene (Splitting Light).
